Everything you need to know for a safe, supported experience

Our Location

We are located approximately:
  • 20–30 minutes from the center of Mocoa
  • 2 hours from Puerto Asís Airport (PUU)
  • 1 hour from Villagarzón Airport (VGZ)​
  • 6 hours from Pasto Airport (PSO)

Airport Transportation

We provide round-trip transportation from the airport to the retreat center.

Recommended Route:

We suggest international travelers fly into Puerto Asís, arrive one day before the retreat begins, and spend the night there. We will assist you in booking a hotel based on your needs. We offer a complete travel guide, so you can manage your travel bookings with peace of mind

On the first morning of the retreat, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and brought to the center.

Domestic Travelers:

If you are already in Colombia, Villagarzón Airport is a great option with limited daily flights. We can help you coordinate travel based on availability.
  • Road Travel Insurance Included

Traveling by Bus

Traveling by bus is possible from Medellín, Cali, or Bogotá.
  • Use Redbus.com to book your seat in advance.
  • We suggest taking a night bus so you can rest while traveling 12+ hours by road.

Important Note:

Bus travel in Colombia can be lengthy. Plan accordingly and consider arriving a day early to rest before the retreat begins.

The most suitable airport and flight
A comfortable hotel for your overnight stay
Any specific needs for your arrival or departure

At Maha Devi Ayahuasca Retreats, your safety is sacred. From preparation to post-retreat integration, we create a secure, supportive container for deep transformation.

Stage 1 – Preparation

  • Medcial Screening & Discovery
  • Informed participation
  • A personalized plan based on your needs

Stage 2 – The Experience

  • One-on-one sessions and group sharing
  • Ceremonies led by two English-speaking facilitators
  • Two healers or healer's assistants minimum
  • High participant-to-staff ratio (1:2)

Stage 3 – Post-Retreat Support

  • 1-month of integration support
  • Group call with a psychologist
  • Weekly check-ins and emotional support
  • Live Q&A with a licensed healthcare provider

Health Screening

Every participant completes:
  • A Quick Health Assessment
  • A personal discovery call to explore your needs and ensure readiness
If you’re not a fit for this retreat yet, we will offer referrals and support to guide your future readiness.

Emergency Protocols

  • First Aid-certified facilitators always on-site
  • Emergency transportation to the nearest 24/7 medical facility (30–40 mins)
  • In-house support from a psychedelic therapy-trained psychologist for complex cases
