Your Deposit
A $500 USD deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Your spot is not held until this deposit is received.
Cancellation & Refund Schedule
The following table applies to the remaining balance paid online, after the deposit. The 14-day deposit rule above applies regardless of how far in advance you cancel.

About Credits
Credits are valid for 24 months from the date of issue and may be applied to any future MahaDevi retreat. Credits are non-transferable to another person and cannot be redeemed for cash.
If MahaDevi Cancels
MahaDevi is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you may have incurred in preparation for a cancelled retreat. This is one reason we strongly encourage comprehensive travel insurance — see below.
The Cultural Contribution
A portion of the total retreat cost is a cultural contribution paid directly to the Indigenous ceremonial leader in cash upon your arrival in Colombia. This amount — set at the equivalent of $550 USD in Colombian Pesos at the confirmed exchange rate on the day your booking is finalized — is not collected online and is not subject to this refund policy.
This contribution goes directly to the Taita. It is not received or retained by Mahadevi Retreats S.A.S. and does not form part of any online payment transaction.
How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method only
- Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider — typically 5 to 10 business days
- Exchange rate fluctuations and bank fees may affect the final amount received — Mahadevi is not responsible for these differences
- Mahadevi Retreats does not charge processing fees on payments or refunds
Removal During a Retreat
If a participant is removed during a retreat due to a violation of our participation agreement — including misconduct, prohibited substance use, or withholding medical information — no refund or credit will be issued for any portion of fees paid. MahaDevi is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result, including flights or onward travel.
Travel Insurance
We strongly encourage all participants to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage valid at local hospitals in Colombia, trip cancellation cover, and emergency evacuation. MahaDevi is not financially responsible for any medical, travel, or emergency costs. Travel insurance is your responsibility to arrange before travel.
