Travel Guide
At MahaDevi Ayahuasca Retreat, our work is guided by collaboration, clear roles, and shared responsibility.
Ceremonies are led by indigenous healers from established Amazonian lineages.Preparation, participant care, safety coordination, and integration support are held by experienced facilitators who work closely with the healers before, during, and after each retreat. This structure allows ancestral traditions to be honored while ensuring participants are supported within a clear, grounded, and responsible retreat container.
Travel Support as Part of Preparation
During your discovery call, we discuss travel planning in detail. This includes:
- Reviewing the best travel options based on your location
- Discussing timing and arrival considerations
- Identifying the most suitable airport options
- Answering questions related to travel safety and logistics
Our goal is to help you make informed choices and avoid unnecessary stress or complications.
Travel and Packing Guide
All participants receive a complete travel and packing guide as part of the preparation process. This guide includes:
- What to pack and what not to pack
- Clothing recommendations based on climate and terrain
- Footwear suggestions
- Items that support comfort during ceremonies
- Personal items that may be helpful during your stay
- Guidelines for respecting the environment and local culture
The guide is designed to help you feel comfortable, prepared, and well-supported throughout the retreat.

Arrival Timing and Overnight Stays
Some participants choose to arrive a day early to rest and adjust before the retreat begins.
If you plan to arrive early, we can assist with hotel recommendations based on your needs and preferences.
This can be especially helpful for long international journeys.
Transportation to and from the Retreat
Two-way airport transportation is included as part of the retreat.
We provide shuttle transportation between the airport and the retreat center.
For guests who prefer additional privacy or flexibility, private transportation can be arranged upon request.
All transportation is coordinated in advance to ensure timely and safe arrival and departure.
Alternative Travel Options
Some participants may explore alternative travel options such as bus travel or multi-leg routes.
If you are considering alternative transportation methods, we can discuss these options during your discovery call and help you plan accordingly.
A Smooth Transition into the Retreat
Travel is not separate from the retreat experience.
A calm, well-planned arrival supports nervous system regulation and allows you to settle in more easily.
Our intention is for you to arrive feeling supported rather than rushed or uncertain.
We are here to help you navigate the journey so that when you arrive, you can focus fully on the retreat process itself.
